EALING YOUNG CHAMPIONS

CREATIVE CONNECTIONS FLYER 2

The Young Adults Centre (YAC) is a Youth Centre servicing the children and young adults of Southall in Ealing. It brings together different communities, provides leisure activities and support for people of all ages and is a safe haven for deprived communities who are at risk of violence and crime.

The YAC has been a safe space and community to many young people in Ealing since the 1980s, yet now the youth centre is at risk of permanent closure with Ealing Council planning next steps to demolish and redevelop the site for housing.

The Ealing Young Champions have launched a campaign to #SaveTheYAC and their recent petition to Ealing Council closed with over 1,500 signatures and was presented to Ealing Council by Lily at a full Council Meeting on Tuesday 12th October.

Watch the video to see Lily's brilliant presentation.

The full meeting is available to watch here.

Stay tuned for updates.
