THE FUTURE OF
GREENFORD
LIBRARY
The Young Ealing Foundation recently met with local community members and groups to explore the potential future of Greenford Library.
The response to setting it up as a community building was overwhelmingly positive and Ealing Council and Young Ealing Foundation are now taking the next steps towards making it a Community Managed Library.
If we are successful, we’ll need volunteers to carry out a whole range of tasks including helping tidy up, redecorate, move furniture around, plan for the new space as well as work in the library once its up and running.
We’re also looking for people to be part of the management committee. The responsibility of the management committee will be for setting and overseeing the delivery of the strategy, identifying funding opportunities and the recruitment and management of staff when required.
We're currently also accepting expressions of interest from local community groups and individuals who are interested in delivering activities in the space.
If you’re interested in being part of this project moving forwards, please register your interest at the links below.
