7th Hanwell Scouts
About Organisation
The 7th Hanwell Scout Group, like all scouting groups, is entirely run by enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers - many of them former Scouts. Through the Group, boys and girls aged 6 and 14 are given the opportunity to develop team building and leadership skills, increase their self-confidence, lead healthier, more active lives and learn how to give back to their community. Scouting has a strong emphasis on learning by doing and 7th Hanwell Group members are taught responsibility, leadership skills and practical skills for life from a young age in a safe and supportive environment. Camping is a core part of our programme and many of our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts had never experienced the joys of camping, cooking for themselves and generally being outside for a weekend or a full week before joining 7th Hanwell. They get to learn numerous new skills, socialise and have fun in the outdoors! If you are interested in joining our group, please click here: Join
