Voice of Dalit International

Voice of Dalit International (VODI) champions the rights of all individuals to equality and freedom through integrated development programmes.

VODI’s vision is to conscientise, sensitise, and motivate the Western public, the agents of development and human rights and other variety of target groups, on the reality of extreme poverty, discrimination and all forms of human rights violations and abuses faced by Dalits who number more than 300 million people.

Their supplementary school provides additional English support to 1st generation Primary schoolchildren in non – English speaking migrant families.

Their objective is to help them to meet required standards at Primary level, which will give them a good start as they move up to Secondary school, and give them equal chances of acquiring good GCSE grades, meeting personal aspiration targets, and supporting career choices.
