The supplementary schools in Ealing are a vital resource for children and young people. The schools encourage a love of learning and provide a safe environment away from the school classroom.

Any Out of School Setting / Supplementary School can join our network of support in Ealing.

We are proud to partner with the The National Resource Centre for Supplementary Education (NRCSE) – a national strategic and support organisation for community-led supplementary schools and the wider supplementary education sector across England. They are the national champion for excellence, innovation and partnership in supplementary education and campaign throughout England on behalf of supplementary schools and their students, tutors and leaders. They aim to help raise the profile of supplementary schools and their standards of teaching, learning and management. You can visit their website here.

Out of School Settings can now register with Ealing Council to voluntarily put in place policies and safeguarding measures that will better ensure children’s safety and wellbeing. These cover practical issues like premises and equipment, as well as safer recruitment of staff and volunteers. Settings which register for the scheme are assessed on whether they meet the safeguarding guidance and those that do are awarded an Ealing Assurance Mark. This can be used on your website, social media, advertising, stationery etc. This recognises your commitment and achievement as well as promotes your setting well to parents.
