What
Creativity Works Futures is a free, intensive eight-week bootcamp of high-impact media masterclasses and employability skills training for young adults from underrepresented backgrounds.
The eight-week programme will focus on training in the media, creative and employability skills that are most in demand for current and future jobs.
The media and creative masterclasses cover a wide range of topics such as data and insights, gaming, storytelling and social media to name a few. The sessions will be facilitated by some of Media Trust’s industry partners which could include, BBH, Edelman, Facebook/Instagram, Google, Nickelodeon, Snap, TikTok and Verizon.
You’ll learn the nuts and bolts of each area and get the chance to apply your newly acquired skills through creating your own content, pitching your creative ideas and receiving feedback from our industry partners.
Throughout the programme, you’ll also benefit from employability and soft skills training, including CV development, writing cover letters, and interview techniques, as well as money management, confidence building and problem–solving.
As part of the programme, you’ll be paired with an industry mentor for 1-2-1 career mentoring and coaching for up to six months. Your mentor will support you throughout this period, offering career advice and helping with job applications.
