What

'Future Youth Worker’ Programme / Level 1 Certificate in Exploring Youth Work

Do you have young people aged 15+ who currently access your provision and are keen to step up and take on a peer support or leadership role within your organisation and would benefit from outside guided learning in a Level 1 Introduction to Youth Work Programme?

• 6 sessions x 3 hours (face to face delivery)
• Participants will complete a unit workbook and portfolio as part of the programme
• Participants will be offered financial support to attend training sessions awarded on successful completion of the programme (London living wage equivalent per hour of guided course hours)
• Member organisations should refer young people on to the programme

• Teaching will be running from 10am to 5pm every day
• Participants will receive the London Living Wage (£13.15 p/h) to support with their expenses during learning.
• There will be deposits taken through Eventbrite which will be refundable to attendees upon completion of the qualification.
• Once you have signed up and paid your deposit, there will be a there will be a short application to form and agreement to sign.

Qualifications will be taking place during October Half Term on the following dates:

• Teaching days-Monday 28th, Tuesday 29th October and Thursday 31st November
• Study days-Wednesday 20th and Friday 1st November

On the study days, staff will be available to support participants with their work and on the final day (Friday 1st November) we will celebrate participants completing their certificate.
