About Project

Our mentor was a lecturer of engineering who is passionate about inspiring young people to reach their full potential. Our mentor's STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Maths) background enables him to guide young people towards achivement by: building their self-confidence, study skills, resilience, habits of success, creativity, positive role models etc. Our mentor visits students at risk of exclusions/underachievement weekly at their schools giving them individual or group mentoring that includes fun activities, games etc. We work with teachers to help students overcome their barriers, prepare them for transition to secondary etc.
