What

We support each child to find their own way back into learning ~ gently, safely, and at their pace.

PDA specialists, trauma informed, fully inclusive.

You're in the right place

If you’re here it’s probably because something isn’t working.

  • The constant battles and meetings with school.
  • Your child shutting down, burning out and unable to attend.
  • You are feeling judged, exhausted and alone.
  • You’ve been told your child is the problem.

But what if the problem was the way they’ve been expected to learn?

We get it…

At The Wildheart Foundation, we support families who:

  • Are parenting children with autism, ADHD, PDA, trauma, or anxiety
  • Have tried school, flexi-school, or EOTAS, but nothing fits
  • See a bright, sensitive child who’s lost their love of learning
  • Want something gentler, more respectful, more grounded, more neuro-affirming

We help your child rediscover their curiosity for learning, in ways that feel safe, respectful and truly theirs.

We offer mentoring and tutoring that meets them where they are.

With deep care, skill, absolute belief and acceptance in who they are.

Is this right for my child?

They are neurodivergent (or you suspect they are) including autism, ADHD, PDA, dyslexia, sensory differences, anxiety or trauma

They have found that school or specialist provision isn’t for them

They are in burn-out or recovering from burn-out

They have found that the experience of school has left them feeling unsafe, unseen or shut down

They seem very anxious

We could be a good fit for you if:

You’re looking for support that centres upon safety, trust and connection, rather than compliance and control

You want guidance from someone who really gets your child

You're ready for something that feels kinder, slower and more attuned to your unique Wild Child

How We Work

The Wildheart Foundation is not tutoring and mentoring as you’ve known it.

Our Young Person’s Guides are skilled in supporting children and young people re-connecting with relationships, curiosity and learning.

Our Approach is:

Child centred: grounded in nervous system safety and connection, as we know that learning happens when chldren feel safe

Flexible and responsive: walking alongside your young person and meeting them where they are

Inclusive and multi-sensory

Informed by lived experience and proven methodoligies

Every mentor (YPG) is fully trained in trauma-informed practice, PDA awareness and neuro-affirming support.

Cost and Accessibility

We work with families who approach us directly, are on EOTAS packages or are referred by their Local Authority or school.
Direct Families

Our rate is £75 per hour.

We know this may not be accessible for every family.

We’re actively working on ways to make our support more affordable and flexible. Please speak to us.

LA Funding

If you're applying for Local Authority (LA) funding, please reach out.
We’re experienced in supporting families through that process and are happy to help.

Group Tutoring
We’re happy to explore small group tutoring if it feels right for your child.

Group sessions are priced based on how many children are attending.
