Project availability
The activity runs from 16 March 2026 to 28 March 2027.
The Young Ealing Foundation does not manage bookings for this activity and is not responsible for the delivery of the project.
What
RollaDome All Skate delivers weekly roller-skating sessions for children and young people aged 4–16 across Ealing, Brent, Harrow and Hounslow.
Sessions are one hour long and are led by qualified RollaDome coaches. They are suitable for both beginners and more experienced skaters. Children learn skating skills, balance and coordination through structured activities, games and free-skate time in a fun and supportive environment. Skates and safety equipment are available so children can participate even if they have never skated before.
Sessions take place after school and at weekends in community centres and school sports halls. The aim of the programme is to help children stay active, build confidence and develop healthy routines through regular physical activity.
The programme is supported by funding from Sport England and the Young Ealing Foundation, helping RollaDome provide free and low-cost opportunities for families who may otherwise face barriers to participation.
Pricing and Funded Spaces
RollaDome operates an affordability model that combines grant funding, annual membership and tiered session fees so that families pay significantly less than the real cost of delivery.
• Annual membership: £52 per child
• Session prices: vary by venue depending on facility costs (typically £72–£144 per 12-week term)Each club also includes a number of free and £5 subsidised places to support families experiencing financial pressure.Across the clubs currently running there are:
- 16 free places
- 39 £5 subsidised places
- 65 standard places
Allocation of Free and Subsidised Places
Free and subsidised places are allocated using a self-declaration approach similar to the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme booking system.
Families can request a supported place during registration if cost would otherwise prevent their child from attending. We do not require proof of income, as we want to ensure the process remains simple and accessible for families.
Places are allocated each term based on availability, with priority given to families who indicate they need financial support.
Booking Process
Families register their child through the RollaDome membership system and select their preferred club session.
During booking families can choose to:
- book a standard place
- book a £5 subsidised place
- request a free place if they need financial support
Once a session reaches capacity, additional applicants are placed on a waiting list, and places are offered as they become available.

RollaDome offers a mix of free, subsidised and standard places across its clubs. The true cost of sessions is significantly higher than the amount many families pay. Thanks to support from Young Ealing Foundation, Sport England, and RollaDome’s membership model, children who need support can access free or reduced £5 sessions. Annual membership is £52 per year (£1 per week), and where families need support, this does not prevent access. Places are allocated through a simple self-declaration process.
