What
Woodland Wellbeing for Young People,16-25 year olds, with additional needs.
Haven Woods offers young people, with additional needs, the opportunity to enjoy the natural world, in a woodland, in Hanwell.
We know that being in nature improves our mental and physical health, lowers blood pressure and our heart rate and supports building trusting relationships with peers.
Our Woodland sessions are designed to support the needs of each individual by providing the freedom, time and space to experience their chosen activities.
We provide a safe space to gather around a campfire, cook together, learn new skills using woodland tools, hammock relaxation, musical instruments are on offer, together with natural craft making and the opportunity to get involved with Conservation work.
Our Woodland programme is run by a fully quailed Forest School leader, with 15 years experience of working with young people with additional needs.
To book your space, find out more about the programme and for dates and time, please contact [email protected]
This programme is free of charge for Ealing residents.
