We are recruiting for activity assistants and leaders for our Summer kids camps in Harrow . We are working across 5 different primary schools in HA1, HA2, HA3 and HA8.

Whether you are from a sport, child care, Physical Education, teaching, or physical activity background, or maybe you simply want to work with like-minded people Magna Groups have a position for you.

Working with Team Magna you will ensure the setting is delivered to the highest standard and fully compliant with Ofsted regulations. You will be responsible for:

· The delivery of a wide range of multi-activity sessions in line with Magna’s Specialist activities.

· Safeguarding and ensuring the health and safety of children, clients, and your team.

· Working as part of a team being responsible for groups of 15 - 25 children to ensure the safe and effective delivery of all Magna’s activities.

· Delivering a range of Magna’s specialist activities, ensuring your groups of children are safe and most importantly, having fun whilst attending our Summer kid’s camp.

· Liaising and providing feedback with and to staff, school leader, and parents daily.

· Promoting activities to parents, children creating memorable moments where they want to keep coming back for more.

ABOUT YOU.

Whether you have a background in childcare, sports coaching, physical education, we believe it is about having the right person who is committed to giving children the best opportunities, leaving them wanting to come back for more.

You will need to be a strong communicator, with the ability to vary your communication style effectively dependent on the audience you are addressing. You will have an eye for detail and strong organisational skills. Ideally, you will have previous experience of working in a kid’s camp or holiday club setting. You will be hands-on and great at what you are inspiring children and the people around you!

Job Type: Temporary, Contract
Contract length: 5 weeks

Salary: £8.50-£11.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• coaching/teaching: 1 year (preferred)
• Kids camp: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Paediatric First Aid Certification (preferred)
• Enhanced DBS (required)
