WHO WE ARE

Go Live Theatre Projects is a charity that uses the power of theatre to create inspiring experiences and unlock possibilities for young people.

WHAT WE DO

We believe all children and young people should have the opportunity to experience the life-enhancing benefits, of seeing and participating in theatre. The challenge: Too many young people and their families experience physical, social, and financial barriers to experiencing theatre. We are here to change that.

HOW WE DO IT

1. Theatre Going: Opening the doors to London’s world-class theatre to children and young people who have fewer opportunities or need specialist access support.
2. Creative Skills: Engaging young people in the performing arts, in and out of school, to develop valuable skills and knowledge to support their studies and future careers.
3. Personal Development: Using the theatre-making process and drama techniques to build confidence as well as life and social skills.

WHO WE SERVE

Children and young people aged 5-25 years old, focusing on those who:

• are from low income households
• experience challenging life circumstances
• are emotionally and physical vulnerable
• have special educational needs and disabilities

In addition to the work we do directly with children and young people, we also upskill the adults around them and help the wider theatre industry improve its education and access provision.

OUR IMPACT

Children, young people and their families enjoy shared, live experiences and create special memories. They discover that theatre is a place where they can belong. Young people gain greater awareness of different opportunities, the confidence to pursue them and develop skills that prepare them for their futures.

Whether it’s a theatre trip, a drama games session, or an educational project, we contribute towards a happier, enriched childhood and a positive future.
