About Organisation

Settle is an award-winning charity that supports young adults as they leave the care system and move into their first home. We provide intensive one-to-one support addressing practical life skills, sustaining a tenancy and managing emotional wellbeing. Our preventative approach to homelessness helps care experienced young people to make long-lasting changes and thrive. Our approach is holistic, flexible and tailored to an individual’s changing needs – ultimately providing a consistent, transformative relationship a young person can rely on. By empowering care-experienced young people to make long-lasting changes and build stable lives, we are breaking the cycle of youth homelessness in the UK.

The Settle Programme

  • Using their coaching qualifications, our Settle Coaches work closely with young people to achieve their tenancy, money, and lifestyle goals.
  • Our sessions are flexible and led by the young person, centred around growing their strengths and removing systemic barriers that restrict their opportunities.
  • Coaches can support with understanding tenancy rights, support accessing work or training, reducing debt and rental arrears, budgeting, saving and claiming benefits, learning useful skills like cooking or DIY and much more.

Alongside the Settle Programme, we offer wraparound support for young people including financial grants, access to privately funded mental health services, social activities and a young persons' advocacy group.
