About Project
This project will provide support to BAMER YP (young people) with SEND and/or disabilities and/or MH (mental health) issues aged 14-25 and their families like: accessing specialist services, signposting and referrals; educating and coordinating with parents, colleges, schools and employers; building a support network for SEND YP and parents outlasting the project; welfare benefits and entitlement, housing, translation and interpreting (Somali), advocacy and representation, help with EHC (education health care plans), links with employers, CV writing, interview skills, filling out forms, attending meetings with statutory services, guidance around training, apprenticeships, qualifications, courses etc. Contact us on info@esdeg.org.uk for dates and times.
